President’s Choice among Canada's ‘leading edge’ brands: survey

In a Ipsos Reid online survey of Canadians, President’s Choice was among the top 10 leading edge brands.

Apple topped the results; President’s Choice was seventh.

Ipsos Reid identified six factors that drive brand influence: trustworthiness, relevance, presence, corporate citizenship and engagement.

Canada's top brands for each element, as well as the ranking of Canada's 100 most influential brands, will be unveiled on January 24 as a part of Ipsos Reid's Advertising Week 2012 presentation at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.

According to the survey, the 10 most leading edge brands in Canada are:

  4. Microsoft

  5. Cirque du Soleil

  6. Coca-Cola

  7. President’s Choice

  8. Tim Hortons

  9. YouTube

  10. Sony
