Quebec discount grocery chain Super C is partnering with Too Good To Go to reduce food waste.

All 113 Super C stores (including more than 40 in Greater Montreal) in 16 regions of the province are participating in the program.

Customers of the Metro-owned grocer can now reserve four types of assortments (“Surprise Bags”) of unsold perishable products: fruits and vegetables ($7.99 for a $24 value), bakery products ($5.99 for an $18 value), dairy products ($7.99 for a $24 value) and meats ($9.99 for a $30 value).

Metro has partnered with the surplus food marketplace since December 2022.
