Rabba Fine Foods, Maple Leaf Foods make donation to Food Banks Mississauga

What: The grocer has partnered with Maple Leaf Foods to donate more than 1,000 packages of hickory smoked Schneider’s bacon, valued at $10,000, to Food Banks Mississauga.

“The holidays prove to be a difficult time of year for many and we hope this donation can provide some relief,” said Rima Rabba, leader of the Rabba Roots Community Giving Program, in a press release. “It is important for us to unite with like-minded companies such as Maple Leaf Foods to commit to making a positive impact in our communities.”

Rabba Fine Foods has supported Food Banks Mississauga for more than 15 years, and has made donations to the organization each week this past year.
