What: The Greater Toronto Area grocer has partnered with food rescue organization Second Harvest.
Part of the Rabba Roots Community Giving Program, the partnership will see Rabba collect grocery essentials and redirect them to people in need.
Rabba and Second Harvest aim to rescue approximately 25,000 pounds of food annually.
“Partnering with Second Harvest allows us to contribute to delivering food to those who need it most. It also provides an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of supporting local organizations like Second Harvest,” Rima Rabba, who heads the Rabba Roots Community Giving Program, said in a release.
