Rabba, Lassonde make back-to-school donation to Mississauga Food Bank

Who: Rabba Fine Foods

What: The grocer has collaborated with Lassonde through its Rabba Roots Community Giving program to donate more than 4,000 organic juice boxes and nearly 4,500 SunRype Fruitsource Fruit Snacks to The Mississauga Food Bank.

This contribution comes just before the start of the school year, aiming to assist local children and families during the back-to-school rush.

Rabba Fine Foods has been partnering with The Mississauga Food Bank for over 15 years. 

“We are grateful to be able to help hundreds of children and provide them with healthy snacks to give them energy to learn,” said Rima Rabba, leader of the Rabba Roots Community Giving Program, in a statement. “Respected partners like Lassonde are integral to the success of our Rabba Roots program. Without partnerships like this one we would not be able to help support The Mississauga Food Bank and its important work.”
