Rabba opens 37th store in Toronto
Toronto-area grocery chain Rabba opened its 37th location on Friday (July 12).
The new market at the corner of Bay and Gerrard offers local and organic produce, fresh meats, Canadian and imported cheeses, snacks and thousands of grocery items.
It also features the Rabba Kitchen, which serves up ready-to-eat meals and salads.
Like all of the grocer’s stores, the new location is open 24 hours a day.
“We have been part of the fabric of Toronto for over 50 years,” said Rick Rabba, president of Rabba, in a release. “We’re so excited to serve our friends and neighbours and look forward to bringing fresh and healthy foods to this vibrant community.”
Given its proximity to SickKids Hospital, as part of its opening activities Rabba will deliver hundreds of gift cards to hospital and emergency workers.
