Ritz Bits Sandwiches recalled over salmonella concerns

Mondelez Canada is recalling its Christie brand Ritz Bits Sandwiches in cheese and pizza flavours over potential risk of salmonella.

Th recall was triggered in another country, and Mondelez says no illnesses have been reported in Canada. It is working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ensure the products are removed from the marketplace and no longer distributed.
