Sable & Rosenfeld president honoured at Winter Fancy Food Show

The co-founder of privately-owned gourmet food company Sable & Rosenfeld was honoured by the Specialty Food Association last weekend at the Winter Fancy Food Show.

Myra Sable, president and co-founder, was selected as one of the inaugural inductees for the Specialty Food Association's Hall of Fame. The inductees included 114 individuals, with Sable being the only Canadian representation.

Members were selected by association members and the Hall of Fame Committee.

"The specialty food industry is build on the creativity and passion of individuals who have worked hard to bring top quality food and new flavours to the market," said Ann Daw, Specialty Food Association president.

Sable & Rosenfeld was founded in 1970, and now serves the needs of approximately 3,000 gourmet retail enthusiasts across North America. The company has received numerous awards in the past including the National Specialty Food "Product Line" and "Grand Show Prize."
