Saputo ups Haig Poutchigian to president, COO for Canadian dairy division, Frank Guido to lead U.S. division

Both executives bring 25 years of experience to their respective roles

Saputo has appointed Haig Poutchigian to president and chief operating officer for its dairy division in Canada, replacing Frank Guido as he becomes president and COO for the U.S. dairy division.

Both appointments will be effective April 1.

Poutchigian joined Saputo in 2016 as senior vice president of finance for the Canadian dairy division. He brings more than 25 years of experience across finance and operations to the role.

Guido, meanwhile, has worked at the company since 2015. Over the past 25 years, he has held senior management positions in operations, supply chain, continuous improvement and finance at other public companies in the CPG industry.

As such, I am thrilled to have Frank transition his talents to our USA team at a pivotal time in our Global Strategic Plan journey,” said Carl Colizza, president and chief operating officer (North America). “I am equally excited to have Haig take the lead role in our Canadian business. Haig has been instrumental to the Division’s growth and ongoing success, and his results-oriented focus will be key in driving the execution of our strategy.”

Guido and Poutchigian will report toColizza, who has been assuming the leadership of the Dairy Division (USA) since June 2022, in addition to his current duties.
