Shoppers Drug Mart gets new SVP of e-commerce

Brian Anderson is joining Loblaw Companies as the senior vice-president of e-commerce for Shoppers Drug Mart.

“For me, this role is a perfect match," Anderson said in a LinkedIn post. "I look forward to being part of the journey to create growth by building a seamless omnichannel customer experience, uniting the efforts of the Shoppers Digital commercial team, our 1,300 stores, and colleagues across the wider Loblaw organization."

Anderson previously worked at Danish retail pharmacy chain Matas Group for more than eight years, most recently serving as executive vice-president, group digital and loyalty. 

He will relocate from Copenhagen to Toronto.
