SkipTheDishes, Food Banks Canada partner for Winter Charity campaign

What:  Food Banks Canada and SkipTheDishes have teamed up again for the third annual Winter Charity campaign.

On Nov. 29 – Giving Tuesday – the food delivery service is donating $1 to Food Banks Canada for every order placed on its network.

Additionally, donations made directly to Food Banks Canada on Nov. 29 will be matched by Skip up to a total of $100,000.

"The holidays can be a challenging time for Canadians and we're humbled to create a platform that allows Skip users to support both their communities and favourite local restaurants," said Howard Migdal, CEO of SkipTheDishes, in a release "As a Canadian company, we are incredibly proud to enter into our third consecutive partnership with Food Banks Canada, directly impacting those in need across the country."
