Sobeys opens renovated store in Ontario
Grocer welcomes shoppers to refreshed South Pelham location

Sobeys recently celebrated the reopening of its renovated store in Welland, Ont.
On May 21, the grocer’s South Pelham location welcomed shoppers with a new exterior upgrade, new refrigerated cases and expanded home meal replacement, deli and beer and wine sections.
Franchisee Mike Zolli, along with his family, as well as Krista Payne, Sobeys’ vice-president of operations, Ontario; district operator Nikki Unrau; and Craig Gawley, director, operations support, were in attendance.
Assisting in cutting the ribbon was Mayor Frank Campion.
A gift card donation was made to Sobeys’ charitable partner Open Arms, with the organization's director Josh Walsh also in attendance.
