Sobeys produce procurement manager retires

Stephen Kelley produce procurement manager for Sobeys National has retired.

Kelly's last day was Oct. 19, but will remain active in managing the Moroccan clementine program for the season, according to produce website AndNowUKnow.com.

Sobeys operates over 1,300 stores in 10 provinces in Canada. The company's retail banners include Sobeys, IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Price Chopper and Thrifty Foods.

The company also operates Lawtons Drug stores in Atlantic Canada.
