Sobeys shows Canada is 'one big family' in times of uncertainty

Families, friends and neighbours are pulling together to weather the COVID-19 pandemic, and Sobeys is saluting that effort in a heart-warming ad it posted to its social media channels on Sunday.

Voice by retired CBC journalist Peter Mansbridge, the 60-second spot is made up of social media clips featuring everyday Canadians making signs in support of health care workers and offering meals to the homeless.

The ad also honours Sobeys' frontline workers who are shown disinfecting carts and posting signs to promote senior shopping hours. Check it out:
