Sobeys ups Geneviève Dugré to SVP of operations for Quebec

Sobeys has appointed Geneviève Dugré as senior vice president of operations for Quebec. 

Dugré – who joined the grocer in 2013 as senior director, talent management, organizational development and internal communications on the human resources team – has more than 17 years of experience in strategy, operations and organizational development.

She will guide the Quebec retail operations team in achieving organizational objectives and pursuing sales growth.

Previously, Dugré – one of Canadian Grocer’s 2019 Star Women in Grocery Award winners – held various positions in retail operations, including management of the Rachelle Béry banner and corporate IGA stores, after having worked for seven years as a business consultant with KPMG.

Sobeys’ Quebec banners include IGA, IGA extra, Marchés Tradition, Bonichoix and Rachelle Béry.
