Nearly 300 individuals came out to the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont. last week to celebrate this year's Star Women in Grocery winners.
Now in its fourth year, Star Women celebrates women in the grocery industry who have made a strong impact in their companies, and helped motivate and teach their teams. These women make a difference where they work with their drive, creativity and support.
The morning's conference began with keynote speaker Nancy Marcus, VP of marketing at Kruger Products and a 2014 Star Women winner.
Marketing guru Tony Chapman moderated a panel featuring several of this year's winners, including Sandra Sanderson of Walmart, Tiffany Carver of General Mills, Christy McMullen of Summerhill Markets and Longo's Rosanne Longo.
The morning conference concluded with the presentation of the Star Women awards.
