Super C opens 101st store
Super C opened the doors to its newest store on Thursday (Dec. 1) after several months of construction.
The 35,000 square foot store in Beauharnois, Que. is the discount grocer’s 101st, and represents a $9.5 million investment.
Super C brings its variety of fresh products and groceries, meals prepared on-site, large-format products, natural and organic products, craft beers and microbrews and Première Moisson products to 400 Edmour Daoust Street.
To celebrate the opening, the store presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Sud-Ouest, a long-time partner – notably through the Metro banner’s food recovery program, One More Bite.
"The addition of this new store is part of a deployment plan that will allow us to consolidate our position as the best discounters in Quebec. We are proud to say that we have the best quality price ratio," said Jean-Guy Tremblay, senior vice president, Super C, in a statement. "Our teams work hard every day to offer consumers quality products at very competitive prices and a shopping experience that is both simple and efficient. We are committed to three guarantees: Always Fresh, Always in Stock and Always Great Prices."
