After months of construction, Super C opened its 100th store on Thursday (Nov. 3) in Saint-Jérôme, Que.
Its 11th location in the Laurentians region, the 40,000 sq. ft. store represents a $13 million investment and has created about 100 jobs.
For its opening, the team – led by store manager Benoit Girard – presented a $5,000 cheque to food bank Moisson Laurentides, a long-time partner of Super C’s food recovery program One More Bite.
The Metro-owned Quebec banner will bring its signature selection of fresh products and groceries to the community, in addition to meats prepared on site by a team of experts, a variety of large-format products, organic and natural products, a selection of craft beers and microbrews and Première Moisson products.
