Super C opens new store in Sherbrooke, Que.

Super C has opened its doors to its second Sherbrooke, Que., location this year, the fifth overall. The store comes from an $8 million investment. 

Located at 5767 Boulevard Bourque, the 36,000 sq. ft. store offers shoppers spacious aisles, self-serve check-outs as well as click-and-collect options. The location will also offer fresh meats prepared on-site, a variety of natural and organic products, craft beers, microbrews, ready to eat meals and an Aki Sushi counter. The new Sherbrooke location employs 100 people.

Super C donated $5,000 to Moisson Estrie, a non-profit organization in the Estrie region of Quebec, to its food recovery program, One More Bite.

“Super C Rock Forest is the fifth store serving the region. The addition of this new store in part of the deployment plan that will allow us to consolidate our position as the best discounter in Quebec,” said Anna Kolakowski, senior vice president, Super C. “We also plan to open two more stores in the region in 2026, in Magog and East Angus, as part of our ongoing commitment to offer consumers quality products at ultracompetitive prices and a shopping experience that is both simple and efficient.”
