Understanding the ethnic consumer
Over the next 10 years Canada’s population is expected to grow by around seven or eight million people, with four or five million of that coming from immigration.
The face of grocery consumers is rapidly changing, with some $12 billion in additional grocery store sales will be attributed to immigrants over the next decade.
To better understand ethnic consumers–how they shop, what they buy and why–Canadian Grocer is presenting an Ethnic Insights conference on May 28 at the International Centre in Mississauge, 7:30am-11:45am.
Speakers from data provider Nielsen and customer insight specialist Pearl Strategy Design and Innovation will provide data on the top three ethnic consumers: Chinese, Indian and Filippino in Canada. Register now, as space is limited!
Capping off the event is the panel discussion with leading ethnic retailers, Al Premium, Oceans/Nations and Galleria Supermarket, along with Unilever International and Tree of Life.
