UNFI appoints Ali Davies as vice-president, sales

United National Foods, Inc. (UNFI) has appointed Ali Davies as vice-president, sales, effective May 1, 2022.

Having most recently served as the vice-president, sales at The Clorox Company, Davies brings more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods, having led customer-facing national accounts in her previous role, as well as past positions at Solutions 2 GO, Kraft Heinz Canada, Mars Canada/EFFEM and Springs Canada. Davies was also named as one of Canadian Grocer's Star Women in Grocery in 2016.

"Ali is known for her genuine passion for people and the exceptional ability to align and energize teams to deliver outstanding results. Paramount to Ali’s success over the years has been her strong customer focus; her intimate understanding of who the external and internal customers are and what they value has enabled her to meet and exceed customer needs while cultivating best in class relationships that secure commitment and trust," said Stacey Kravitz, president of UNFI in a statement. "Coupled with her strong financial acumen, ability to work cross functionally and influence strategic initiatives will serve her well in her new role at UNFI and support our Fuel the Future strategy by 'Unlocking the Customer Experience.'"
