UNFI Foundation to award two $25K grants

What: The not-for-profit arm of UNFI has opened nominations for two $25,000 grants.

The UNFI Foundation’s grant funding is awarded to Canadian non-profits that align with the foundation’s three primary focus areas: increasing the supply of organic food, improving access to healthy food for vulnerable populations and advancing childhood nutrition education.

Applications are reviewed by regional teams of UNFI associates who put forth the collection of organizations to be recognized.

The deadline to submit is Feb. 28.
