Ontario’s largest T&T store is set to open at the Riocan Empress Walk in North York in Fall 2026.

The location was previously a Loblaws' location, which closed on Oct. 26.

“We believe that a T&T Supermarket will be a better fit for the Empress Market community, offering a broader range of Asian products and services that cater to the local community,” a Loblaw spokesperson confirmed.

The 66,000 sq. ft. storefront at 5090 Yonge Street will feature a self-serve hot food bar, a bakery section with more than 150 varieties of baked goods, an Asian beauty section and more than 500 T&T private label items. The location will also offer same-day delivery of groceries, prepared meals, bakery, and seafood through the T&T App

The Canadian Asian supermarket chain was acquired by Loblaw in July 2009.  T&T currently operates 38 stores across North America (37 in Canada and one in the U.S.)
