Walmart Canada launches home décor collection

Walmart has launched Hometrends, an extensive collection of furniture, decorative accessories and functional items for the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining room.

"The Hometrends collection rounds out the 360 degree, one-stop shopping approach, that families on-the-go have come to expect from Walmart," said Walmart Canada's vice-president of Homelines Shelly Kiroff. "We're thrilled to offer our customers yet another affordable solution for their home décor needs. Whether our customers are looking to transform a room or add instant lift with on-trend seasonal accessories, we're certain they'll find something for every room in their home."

The collection takes design cues from nature and new world influences.

Comforter sets, bed-in-bags and duvet covers retails from $79.97 to $119.97, along with sheet sets ($39.97) and decorative pillows and throws retailing from $14.97 to $24.97.

Bath towels with fast-dry technology retail for $7.97 while storage solutions for the home range from $9.98 to $24.98.

The home line also features key furniture pieces including dining chairs in faux leather and ultra-suede that retail for $39, while dinnerware settings retail from $29.87 to $58.97 with serving dishes from $2.97 to $12.97.
