John Bayliss will move into chief administration officer role. Bayliss recently served as executive vice-president, transformation office and as the senior vice-president of supply chain with the retailer.
Michon Williams has been promoted from VP, technology (product and delivery) to chief technology officer. In her new role, Michon will lead the Internal Product Management and the Technology Infrastructure teams.
Meanwhile, Joe Schrauder is making a move to Canada to become VP, operations and chief of staff to the CEO. He is based in Bentonville, Arkansas where he has been serving as president, international operations and realty for Walmart International.
"We are a people-led, tech-powered business and these updates to our executive team help position us to improve how customers are able to shop with us," said Gonzalo Gebara, president and CEO, Walmart Canada, in a press release. "Our best-in-class Canadian leadership team is pushing our business forward on the path to modernize retail."
