Walmart Canada is rolling back the prices on some popular holiday foods to help financially strained shoppers.
From Dec. 8 to 28, the retailer is offering last year’s prices on traditional foods like turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, cake, ice cream and more in-store and online.
“We know this year has been challenging for many Canadian families due to rising costs,” Pietro Rollo, vice president of food, Walmart Canada, said in a statement. “Saving money is extremely important to our customers right now, and we’re doing our best to help. We’re removing inflation on the key ingredients needed for a festive dinner this holiday season so Canadians can feast with less worry and more merry.”
