Walmart, Empire, Kruger to speak at Thought Leadership 2018

We know it's still a few months away, but we're excited to announce that Walmart Canada’s Lee Tappenden, Empire's Michael Medline and Kruger's Dino Bianco are participating in a panel discussion at the annual Thought Leadership CEO Conference this fall.

And, because tickets always sell quickly we thought we would give you a jump start on registration!

Held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Nov. 19, the event will also include a research presentation from Carman Allison, vice-president of consumer insights at Nielsen.

The conference will be followed by the Golden Pencil Awards, as well as the presentation of the Generation Next Award, launched by Canadian Grocer to recognize the up-and-coming innovative leaders in the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries.

This year’s recipients of the Golden Pencil Award are Mary Dalimonte, former senior vice-president of merchandising and commercial programs at Sobeys, and Tom Gunter, former executive vice-president and general manager at Fiera Foods Company.
