Xavier Poncin passes away at age 50
The CEO of Expo Canada France / SIAL Canada died suddenly, his sons say
Xavier Poncin, CEO of Expo Canada France / SIAL Canada, died suddenly on July 27th at the age of 50.
His two sons, Valentine and Thomas Poncin, made the announcement on Saturday, which was shared by SIAL Canada via Twitter.
Poncin began working within the trade show industry in France in 1997. He joined Expo Canada France in 2009 as CEO.
In the statement, the board of directors of Expo Canada France said it had lost a collaborator, but also a friend "who put so much heart and energy into everything he undertook."
