2021 Grand Prix winners announced!
The Retail Council of Canada announced the winners of its annual Canadian Grand Prix New Product Awards during an in-person gala held in Toronto on Wednesday night.
Now in its 29th year, the Grand Prix Awards aim is to celebrate innovation and creativity in the food industry. The award recognizes the most notable new food and consumer goods products--both national brands and private label--launched in the Canadian market in 2021.
"The winners this year reflect the story of changing Canadian values. Canadians are seeking products that truly meet their needs and dietary preferences. The quality of meat and dairy alternative products is astounding and a testament that these product choices are here to stay, "said Diane J. Brisebois, president and CEO of Retail Council of Canada, in a press release announcing the winners.
The winning products were evaluated by a jury comprised of food and grocery experts who judged the entries based on innovation, taste, experience and packaging.
