Aburi Market, a premium Japanese grocery concept store, is opening a third location in Vancouver on March 3.

Following on the success of its Yaletown and West Vancouver stores, the new 3,200-sq.-ft. space—located at #101-609 Granville Street—will offer a curated selection of grab-and-go sushi, prepared foods, Japanese specialty snacks, exclusive imported goods and more. (Pictures in the gallery below.)

Owned by Aburi Restaurants Canada—the group behind high-end restaurants Miku and Minami—Aburi Market Downtown will feature its largest kitchen yet, producing an expanded selection of ready-to-eat items.

And new to this location will be Pan  Pan, a new bakery concept that "reimagines the beloved experience of Japanese convenience store bread into a premium, pre-packaged offering," according to a press release.

“Our new Downtown Aburi Market location is especially designed for city life, where we emphasize convenience, premium food quality, and of course, accessibility with its proximity to major transit routes,” said Seigo Nakamura, founder and CEO of Aburi Restaurants Canada, in a press release.
