Beena Goldenberg lands top role at Supreme Cannabis
CPG veteran has been named president and chief executive officer
Beena Goldenberg, the former CEO of Hain-Celestial Canada, is taking on the top role at Supreme Cannabis.
Goldenberg, one of Canadian Grocer's Star Women in Grocery, has been named president and chief executive officer. She replaces Colin Moore, who held the position on an interim basis since January.

In her new role, Goldenberg has been tasked with leading Supreme Cannabis to "profitable, long-term growth as a premium cannabis CPG company."
An engineer by trade, Goldenberg has spent more than 30 years at CPG companies including Parmalat and Ronzoni Foods.
In 2005, Goldenberg was hired to head up the Canadian division of Hain-Celestial when its U.S. parent, Hain Celestial Group, opened an office in Toronto. Goldenberg was named CEO in 2016, and has been credited with growing sales by 650% during her 15 years with the company.
"Beena is a proven, entrepreneurial leader in the Canadian CPG sector who will apply her passion and expertise in marketing and manufacturing to Supreme Cannabis' brands and operations and capture the vast opportunities within the Canadian and global cannabis industries," said Supreme Cannabis' board chairman Michael La Brier, in a press release announcing Goldenberg's appointment.
