Burnbrae Farms has been certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise

Canadian businesses that are at least 51% owned and operated by women are eligible for the accreditation.

Burnbrae President and CEO Margaret Hudson is supported by siblings and the shareholder group that includes herself and Helen Anne Hudson, Mary Jean (Hudson) McFall, Ted Hudson, Sue Hudson and brother-in-law Ian McFall.

"We are honoured to be accredited by WBE. Generations of the Hudson family have been inspired by influential matriarchal women who were well educated, community minded, and strong role models. We are proud to carry on their legacy," Margaret Hudson said in a statement.

WBE is a non-profit with the mandate to build connections between Canadian women-owned businesses and corporate/government buyers and ensure that existing barriers are removed and supply chains are more diverse and inclusive.
