Calgary Co-op announces leadership transition
Calgary Co-op’s board of directors has appointed Ken White, current board chair, to the role of executive chair, “allowing him to continue serving as chair of the board while also taking on additional responsibilities within the CEO role.”
The board also announced that Lisa Swartzman will conclude her term as interim chief executive officer in mid-November, following a year of leadership.
“Calgary Co-op is well positioned for long-term success, supported by a strong leadership team and a clearly defined growth strategy,” said Ken White, executive chair. “On behalf of the Board, I thank Lisa for her valuable contributions and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional products, services, and value to our members.”
The Board remains committed to completing a comprehensive search for the organization’s next permanent CEO.
