CFIG names recipients of 2026 Life Member Awards

Galleria Supermarket’s Jeffrey Min, Lactalis Canada’s Tom Szostok and Maple Leaf Foods’ John Tobin have received Life Member designations from the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG).

Min, founder and chairman of Galleria Supermarket, is the 2026 recipient in the Independent Grocer category.

Szostok, senior vice-president of sales for Lactalis Canada, and Tobin, vice-president and general manager of retail sales for Maple Leaf Foods, are recipients in the Industry Builder category.

Min, Szostok and Tobin will be recognized at the Canadian Independent Grocer of the Year awards gala. The event takes place Oct. 28 during Grocery Innovations Canada at the Toronto Congress Centre.
