Alberta grocer Community Natural Foods has launched a new membership program and app.

Features include bonus cash and exclusive savings.

Shoppers can also stay informed on events, access weekly flyers and personalized recipes and receive alerts on new products, wellness trends and industry highlights.

“This launch represents a pivotal moment for Community Natural Foods. Since its establishment in 1977, CNF’s mission has been to provide Alberta shoppers with quality natural and organic products. As the needs of our customers evolve, we remain committed to innovating and enhancing their shopping experience. Our new membership program and interactive app embodies this commitment by modernizing how we connect with our community,” Damon Tanzola, SVP, real estate and health and wellness, Calgary Co-op and Community Natural Foods, said in a release.

The app is part of a number of recent investments in the Calgary Co-op-owned grocer, including a new website, refreshed logo and delivery vans.

Community Natural Foods is also set to open a new store in the Calgary community of Seton next fall, following renovations to two stores (10th Avenue SW and Crowfoot) and the opening of a store in Old Strathcona Edmonton last summer.
