Community Natural Foods ups Matt Penner to director of operations, merchandising

Community Natural Foods has promoted Matt Penner to director of operations and merchandising.

Penner will work closely with Rob Naf, managing director, to support the grocer’s growth. 

The company, owned by Calgary Co-op, also announced the leadership team for its new location in Edmonton. 

Adam Steinson will serve as the Strathcona store manager; Emily Auch is the fresh manager; Paul Moffat is the customer engagement manager; Pat Aura is the inventory manager; and Tahra Haddouche will serve as the cash and events manager.
