CPMA names Mario Masellis as its new chair

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) has appointed Mario Masellis as its new chair for 2022-2023. 

Having worked in the produce industry for more than 25 years, Masellis is currently the vice-president, sales and marketing of Catania Worldwide. Masellis has been a CPMA Board member since 2009 and a mentor for the association's Passion for Produce program. He succeeds Courchesne Larose's Guy Milette as CPMA chair.

In his role as chair, Masellis will focus on education and training, government relations efforts as well as diversity and inclusion within the produce industry. 

“It is a tremendous honour to have this opportunity to serve as CPMA Chair," said Masellis in a press release. "I’m looking forward to building upon the work my colleagues and past chairs have done, which supports CPMA as the voice of the produce industry in Canada."
