Dairy Farmers of Canada president Pierre Lampron is elected to a third term.

Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) has re-elected Pierre Lampron to a third term as president. The vote was held Wednesday during the organization's annual general meeting.

Lampron--a sixth-generation organic dairy farmer from Mauricie, Que.—has been DFC president since July 2017. He has been part of the organization since 2007, when he was first appointed to the board.

"I would like to thank dairy farmers for putting their trust in me once again," said Lampron, in a press release announcing his re-election. "It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as president of DFC's board for the last four years, and I look forward to continuing this important work on behalf of dairy farmers in my final term."
