Empire, Walmart, Calgary Co-op among food retailers feted at RCC Excellence in Retailing Awards

The Retail Council of Canada (RCC) revealed the winners of its Excellence in Retailing Awards Tuesday (May 30) at a gala held during its Store 2023 Conference in Toronto.

Fifteen retailers were awarded this year out of a record of 88 finalists. 

The organization also presented three Awards of Distinctions and 18 Retail Education scholarships.

"The winners of the Excellence in Retailing Awards have displayed an extraordinary dedication to delivering unparalleled customer service, embracing innovative business strategies, and showcasing exemplary leadership," said Diane J. Brisebois, president and CEO of RCC, in a statement.
