Flashfood fills CFO and chief revenue officer roles
Flashfood has made two appointments to its leadership team.
Rob Levy has joined the company as chief financial officer and Steve Towarnicki has taken on the newly created position of chief revenue officer.
In his new post, Levy will lead Flashfood’s financial strategy across North America. He joins the business from telehealth platform Openloop Health, where he was CFO.
Towarnicki will oversee Flashfood’s sales, go-to-market and account management functions as it scales its commercial footprint.
He most recently served as senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Deliveright/Grasshopper Labs.
Towarnicki began his career at dunnhumby, where he supported expansion into Canada’s grocery and CPG sector and later launched the company’s first commercial operations in India.
He then relocated to the U.S. to lead sales for Symphony RetailAI's largest grocery partner where he helped scale CPG, retail, and restaurant partnerships at Fetch Rewards.
"Bringing Rob and Steve onto the leadership team is a deliberate investment in what comes next for Flashfood. They've both done this before, scaling companies at exactly the stage we're in, and are deeply committed to the mission ahead. Rob's track record in marketplace businesses combined with Steve's deep roots in grocery and retail is exactly the experience we need as we expand our partnerships and our technology offerings,” Flashfood CEO Jordan Schenck said in a press release.
