Fresh St. Market is opening its first location in the city of Richmond, B.C. next summer.

The store will be the retailer’s 10th in the province.

Located inside the CF Richmond Centre at 6553 Park Road, the 26,425 square-foot supermarket promises to serve as a “one-stop destination.”

Offerings include fresh produce, Certified Angus Beef, sushi made in-house, the grocer’s signature Hot Cookies, Peak Donuts, carvery and more. The store will also feature Fresh St. Market’s hot bar concept with ready-to-eat meal options and dedicated seating areas.

Fresh St. Market said it plans to partner with a range of B.C. producers for the Richmond location.

And as with all Fresh St. Market locations, the Richmond store will be home to two of the company’s signature community programs: FoodMesh and Borrow a Bag.

“Richmond has one of the most exciting food cultures in Metro Vancouver with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients, making Fresh St. Market an exceptional fit for this municipality and its residents,” said Palle Knudsen, vice-president of retail operations and marketing at Georgia Main Food Group Ltd., in a press release. “We have been looking for the right opportunity to bring Fresh St. Market to Richmond for years and this location at Richmond Centre is centrally located in the hub of the city and abundant with visitors. We cannot wait to introduce Fresh St. Market to this bustling food-loving community.”
