Fresh St. Market will host the official grand opening of its Kitsilano, B.C. location on Jan. 16. 

Located at 2823 4th Ave., the official celebration will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony and remarks from government officials and other community leaders. The grand opening will also feature special promotions throughout the store. 

The store, which has been open to the public since December 2025, features locally sourced fresh produce, in-house freshly made sushi daily, Peak donuts, a burrito bar, carvery and more. The store also features the chain's largest hot bar to date.

"We're excited to officially welcome the Kitsilano community to Fresh St. Market at 4th and Macdonald," said Palle Knudsen, vice president, retail operations, Fresh St. Market, in a press release. "Since opening our doors in December, we've been thrilled by the warm reception from local residents. This grand opening celebration is our opportunity to thank the community for their support and invite everyone to experience what makes Fresh St. Market special – our commitment to local partnerships, sustainability, and the highest quality food offerings."
