Holy Cow Foods CFO steps down

Holy Cow Foods has announced its director, chief financial officer and corporate secretary Geoff Balderson has resigned. The role has been filled by the food company’s current general manager Norm Shung.

Shung, a chartered accountant who joined Holy Cow in April 2021, brings more than 25 years of management experience at startups and publicly-traded companies.

During his career, Shung has served as CFO at Thai United Food Trading Ltd. and Basic Grain Products Inc. He also worked as controller with Nature’s Path Foods.

“[Shung] He has been fantastic for us in his position as general manager so far, so we are excited about his contributions in these new roles,” said Holy Cow CEO Paul Rivas, in a press release. “I also extend my sincere thanks to Geoff for his services and contribution during his tenure.”
