Kimberly-Clark taps John Carmichael as president, North America

The outgoing head of Nestlé Canada will take on the new role in September

Kimberly-Clark Corporation has appointed John Carmichael to the post of president, North America.

Carmichael, currently president and CEO of Nestlé Canada, will step into his new role on September 15, succeeding interim president Kurt Laufer. 

As president of Kimberly-Clark's North American business, Carmichael will lead the company's personal care, family care and professional businesses across the United States and Canada.

Carmichael has spent three decades at Nestlé in a variety of roles, overseeing a broad portfolio including ice cream, coffee, beverages, confectionery, nutrition and pet care.
