Lassonde appoints chief information officer
To strengthen its technology leadership as it expands its operations in Canada and the United States, Quebec-based Lassonde Industries has named Minh Quan Dam as its first-ever chief information officer (CIO).
In the newly-created role, Dam will oversee the food and beverage company's information technology strategy and operations with a focus on strengthening service delivery, harmonizing processes and advancing systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity and data capabilities across North America.
Dam brings more than 20 years of experience in technology strategy and digital transformation to the role. Most recently he served as global CIO at kdc/one and prior to that Dam spent seven years at Agropur in progressive senior leadership roles.
"Technology, data and digital capabilities are central components of our plans for long-term growth," said Lassonde chief executive officer Vince Timpano in a press release. "Minh Quan's experience in modernizing complex organizations and building strong IT foundations will help ensure our teams have the tools and systems they need to serve customers efficiently and support our business well into the future."
