Lassonde taps Vince Timpano as new CEO

Lassonde Industries Inc. is restructuring its senior leadership team with president and chief operating officer Vince Timpano appointed CEO.

Nathalie Lassonde, currently CEO and vice-chair of the board, will transition to EVP and co-chair of the board, effective September 1.

On January 1, she will become executive chair of the board and step down as EVP of Lassonde.

Chairman of the board Pierre-Paul Lassonde will co-chair the board with Nathalie between September 1 and January 1. He will then serve as a member of the board. 

"The time has come for me to pass the torch onto the next generation of leaders to carry out our organization's vision and goals for the future. Nathalie embodies the values, integrity, respect and responsibility that have made Lassonde what it is today. She has gained an in-depth understanding of the business in her 20 years at Lassonde, both as a member of the Board and in her role as CEO, that will help her guide the management team in the coming years. I am confident that she will leave her mark as an inspiring and inclusive leader," Pierre-Paul said in a release.

Timpano takes up his new role at the helm of the company on September 1. The executive has served as president and COO of the company since 2021.

He joined Lassonde in 2020 as president and CEO of its U.S. subsidiary, Lassonde Pappas and Company Inc. 

Before that, he held a variety of roles including president of global coalitions at Aimia Inc., president of Coca-Cola Canada and president and CEO of The Minute Maid Company Canada.
