Mars Pet Nutrition Canada taps Ashley Melito as VP of sales

Mars Pet Nutrition Canada has Ashley Melito to its Canadian leadership team as vice president of sales. 

Melito joins the company from Henkel Canada Corporation, where she worked for six years. She also previously spent 10 years at L’Oréal Canada, working multiple roles across sales and category divisions. 

 “I am incredibly excited to be joining the Mars Pet Nutrition family in Canada,” Melito said in a statement. “At the heart of this business is not only a portfolio of iconic brands that continue to foster deep connections between pets and pet parents, but also an incredibly inspiring purpose to create A Better World For Pets. I’m looking forward to bringing our purpose and brands to life in close partnership with retail partners, all while working alongside a highly skilled team of sales associates who continue to focus on serving Canada’s pet population.” 

 She will report to Daniel Calderoni, general manager of Mars Pet Nutrition Canada, and has already started her transition.
