McCain Foods appoints new president of Canadian division

Frozen foods giant McCain Foods has named Danielle Barran as president of its Canadian division to lead the "next stage of strategic development."

According to a press release, Barran will report to Jeff DeLapp, the president of the company's North American business.

“Under Danielle’s leadership, the Canadian team will continue to foster strong customer relationships and drive innovation, further enabling the leadership position of the company and our commitment to bringing joy to families across Canada,” said DeLapp.

Barran has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, and most recently served as vice-president of commercial strategy (pet division) at The J.M. Smucker Company.
