McCain Foods has announced a four-year partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee as the official french fry partner of Team Canada.

The partnership will run through the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Summer Games.

As a part of the partnership, McCain is launching the “McCain Golden Gallery”, a digital platform that will collect videos, photos and messages of support from Canadians to Team Canada.

McCain is hosting a pop-up in Toronto at 2 Queen Street West, called the “McCain FryDay Fanzone”. The immersive, Team Canada-themed pop-up will give visitors a chance to record videos and take photos in "cheer pods". These captured moments will be featured in the digital gallery.

The pop-up will also feature McCain fry dishes inspired by the upcoming Olympic Games, including pizza-french fries, poutine and sliders.

The pop-up opens on Feb. 6. Guests who visit on opening day will have a chance to meet Olympian Patrick Chan.

Fans across Canada can also participate from Feb. 6 to 22 by sharing their messages of support on social media and tagging McCain Canada. Participants will receive a digital coupon for a free McCain fries product.
