No microwave needed for self-heating soups, beverages
A San Diego company's new line of self-heating beverages and soups bring convenience to a new level as they can be prepared anywhere without a microwave.
Hot-Can Inc. beverages and soups includes café mocha, café latte, hot cocoa, tea and mushroom, asparagus, tomato and chicken soups, according to Vending Times.
To heat the beverage or soup, consumers only need to remove label from the bottom of the can and push a button. After shaking the can upside down for 30 seconds, they simply have to turn the can upright and wait 30 seconds until the black heat indicator dot on the side of can turns green.
Hot-Can beverages and soups retail for $1.99 to $2.99.
